InsurTech Connect (ITC) 2026 brought thousands of insurance executives, technology providers, investors, and innovators to Las Vegas for three days of conversations about where the industry is headed next.
For the BriteCore team, those conversations reinforced something we have seen building throughout the year: P&C insurers and MGAs are looking beyond simply modernizing their technology. They are asking how their core platform can help them move faster, operate more efficiently, embrace AI, and continuously adapt to what comes next.
From a full schedule of meetings and product demonstrations to conversations with customers, prospects, partners, and industry analysts, ITC provided an opportunity to hear firsthand what matters most to insurance leaders today.

Seeing BriteCore Differently
Throughout the event, the BriteCore booth and executive meeting suite were busy with scheduled meetings, live product demonstrations, and conversations with carriers and MGAs exploring their technology strategies.
One conversation in particular captured the shift we are seeing in the market.
A carrier came to ITC repeatedly emphasizing that it was not looking to replace its current core platform. But as the conversation progressed and the team learned more about what differentiates BriteCore, that position began to change.
The carrier identified several areas where its existing platform was creating challenges, including the effort required to introduce new products, lines of business, and states, as well as the difficulty of making rating changes. The team was particularly interested in how quickly BriteCore can replicate and configure existing lines, helping insurers accelerate migration rather than allowing a lengthy implementation to become a barrier to modernization.
By the end of the discussion, the carrier wanted to take a closer look and arrange a BriteCore product demonstration for additional members of its team.
That conversation reinforced an important takeaway from ITC: many insurers may not begin with a core replacement project in mind. But when they see what is possible with a modern, flexible platform, they start asking whether the limitations they have accepted for years are limitations they still need to live with.
Innovation That Resonated
ITC also gave us an opportunity to share BriteCore’s latest platform innovations with customers, prospects, and analysts.
Just before the conference, BriteCore announced a new generation of capabilities, including new and enhanced AI Copilots, a modern Underwriting Workbench, and the Open Agentic Core.
The response at ITC was extremely positive.
These innovations reflect a broader shift taking place across insurance. AI is moving beyond standalone tools and isolated experiments. Insurers are increasingly thinking about how intelligence can be embedded directly into underwriting, claims, policy, and other core workflows, while maintaining the security, governance, and human oversight required for insurance operations.
BriteCore’s Open Agentic Core extends that vision further by providing a secure foundation for enterprise AI agents to interact directly with core insurance data and workflows. Combined with BriteCore’s API-first, cloud-native architecture, it gives insurers a foundation designed not just for today’s technology environment, but for what comes next.
Recognition for BriteCore’s Vision and Execution
Another recurring topic throughout ITC was BriteCore’s placement in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS P&C Insurance Core Platforms, North America.
Customers and other attendees congratulated the team on BriteCore’s position in the Challenger quadrant, where BriteCore was positioned furthest for both Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute among Challengers.
For us, that recognition complements what we heard directly from insurers throughout the conference: organizations want core technology that can support their business today without constraining where they want to go tomorrow.

Connecting Beyond the Expo Hall
Of course, some of the best conversations at ITC happened away from the booth.
BriteCore’s cocktail reception at KUMI in Mandalay Bay brought together customers, partners, prospects, and industry leaders after a full day of conference sessions, meetings, and exploring the expo hall.
The evening offered a chance to reconnect with longtime colleagues, build new relationships, compare experiences, and share ideas and best practices in a more relaxed setting. Events like ITC are ultimately about people as much as technology, and the energy at KUMI reflected the collaborative spirit that continues to define the P&C insurance community.
Leaving Las Vegas With Momentum
Our biggest takeaway from ITC 2026 is that the conversation around core modernization is changing.
Insurers are no longer evaluating platforms only on whether they can replace the functionality they have today. They are asking whether their technology can help them launch products faster, enter new markets, connect with an expanding technology ecosystem, embed AI into everyday operations, and continue evolving without another major transformation a few years from now.
Those were exactly the conversations we hoped to have in Las Vegas.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, joined us for a demonstration, met with our team, attended our reception, or simply stopped by to share what you are seeing across the industry. We left ITC energized by those conversations and even more excited about what comes next.
And if we didn’t get a chance to connect at ITC, the conversation doesn’t have to end in Las Vegas. We’d welcome the opportunity to learn more about your priorities and challenges and explore how BriteCore can help your organization modernize its core, move faster, and build a technology foundation ready for what’s next.
