Doug Roller, BriteCore Board Member, has spent thirty-five years in the insurance industry. He founded his first software company, Micro-Magic Systems, in 1981, selling comparative rating services to independent insurance agents. In 1986, AMS (now Vertafore) acquired the company, and Doug continued to serve in a variety of technology and management roles at AMS.
In 2000, Doug and six other Micro-Magic leaders founded Duck Creek Technologies. Over the next eleven years, the company evolved to lead in rating and product management as a premier provider of policy administration software. In 2011, Duck Creek was acquired by Accenture, further strengthening its market-leader position. Doug served as senior manager at Duck Creek until retiring in 2013. He continues occasional consulting for Duck Creek and now spends more time pursuing his hobbies: traveling, reading, writing, running, music and working with start-up technology companies.
